About

about

At 26 years old, Guy Moskovich has already established himself as one of the most in-demand pianists and composers of his young generation in both Israel and New York City, performing and recording with musicians such as Omer Avital, Dayna Stephens and Mike Rodriguez in venues and festivals all around the world.

Guy began his musical journey playing classical piano at the age of nine, immediately showing rapid improvement, winning his first piano competition when he was only eleven and playing pieces far beyond his years. At fifteen, seeking more self-expression he went on to study Jazz at the prestigious ‘Thelma Yellin High School of the Arts’ in Tel Aviv, and was the recipient of excellency scholarships from the America - Israel Cultural Foundation.

Guy moved to New York City in 2017 after being awarded a full-tuition scholarship from ‘The New School’ in NYC, quickly rising to become one of the most prominent pianists in the scene, allowing him to craft his unique voice, drawing from his Israeli legacy and Middle-Eastern influences, as well as elements from western classical composers such as Chopin and Liszt, all morphing into a brand new sound under the grand concepts of African-American music - Improvisation, Listening and freedom.
